A Blog by Elliott - A 3rd Year University of Chester student - Christmas

Hope you're all doing great. This week we're going to go over all the exciting things you can do here in Chester in the build-up to the Christmas holidays!

Christmas Activities.

Let's first not forget the most important thing to do, the Christmas markets!

Mulled wine, fancy liqueurs, handmade leather bags; name it, its there.

My personal favourite place to go is the "last name" stall in which they will enlighten you to what exactly your last name means, heritage, origins and all the things in between.

Also have a quick trip over to Cheshire Oaks, they have a wonderful selection of shops and cute décor that you'll be happy you saw. A secret for you is that you can go INSIDE the big tree for a little snowy scene.

Chester town will also be having a few cool things going on

Independent pubs putting special beer on, a little secret from an inside man; Pied Bull will have a selection of Christmas beer for you to look at, you didn't hear that from me!

Finally you can of course take a winter walk with at hot chocolate down the river Dee or maybe along the promenade leading to the racecourse. Let me know if you know any spots to go during this autumnal time.

Above all enjoy the season and have a wonderful Christmas.
